Terms of Use and Community Rules

1. Scope

These Terms of Use apply to the Haomity app and website.

By registering for and using Haomity, users accept these terms.

2. Purpose of the platform

Haomity enables users to meet new people, create and join events, and communicate with one another.

Haomity is not the organizer of every meeting published on the platform. Events may be created and run independently by users.

3. Minimum age

Use is permitted only for persons aged 18 or over.

Users must provide truthful age information. Accounts belonging to minors may be suspended or deleted.

4. User account

Each user may generally use only one personal account. The following are prohibited:

• using a false identity or another person's photos;
• impersonating another person;
• sharing login credentials;
• creating accounts automatically or in bulk;
• circumventing a suspension by registering again.

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.

5. Conduct toward other users

All users must treat others respectfully. In particular, the following are prohibited:

• insults, threats, harassment or intimidation;
• discrimination based on origin, skin colour, gender, religion, disability, age or sexual orientation;
• sexual harassment or unwanted sexual content;
• stalking or repeated unwanted contact;
• threats or glorification of violence;
• hate speech or extremist content;
• publishing another person's personal data without consent;
• recording or publishing photos, videos or conversations without the required consent;
• fraud, deception, spam or aggressive advertising.

6. Events

Organizers must provide complete and truthful information about the place, time, participant limit and content of an event.

Events with unlawful or dangerous content, violence, hate, discrimination, deception, sexual services, illegal gambling, weapons, illegal drugs or other prohibited items are not allowed.

Organizers are responsible for organization, safety, permits, house rules and any applicable taxes.

7. Participation and cancellations

Registration for an event is binding unless stated otherwise. Anyone unable to attend should cancel in good time so the place can be offered to someone else.

Repeated failure to attend without cancellation may lead to a temporary restriction of booking functions.

8. Personal safety

Users decide on their own responsibility whether and with whom they meet. For a first meeting, choose a public place, tell a trusted person where and when you are meeting, do not share sensitive personal or financial data, leave an unsafe situation and report suspicious behaviour.

In an immediate danger, contact the police or local emergency service.

9. User content

Users may upload only content for which they hold the necessary rights. Copyright infringement, another person's photos or data without consent, pornographic or violence-glorifying content, unlawful or fraudulent content, malware, phishing and automated spam are prohibited.

Users remain responsible for their content.

10. Moderation and reports

Haomity may review reported or suspicious content. Measures may include a warning, removal of content or an event, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent account deletion, or a report to the competent authorities where legally required.

Measures are based on the type, severity and frequency of the violation. Users may request a review through the contact or complaint function.

11. Prices and subscriptions

If paid functions are offered, the price, duration, trial period and renewal conditions will be displayed before purchase.

The terms shown during checkout are decisive. Refunds are provided where there is a legal entitlement. Additional consumer information and withdrawal rights apply to paid consumer contracts.

12. Availability

Continuous, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Haomity may temporarily restrict the app for maintenance, security, technical problems or further development.

13. Liability

Haomity has unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract.

Haomity does not guarantee the identity, conduct or reliability of users, the performance or quality of user-organized events, external venues, private agreements, lost property or risks entered into at the user's own responsibility. Mandatory statutory claims remain unaffected.

14. Termination and account deletion

Users may delete their account through the provided function or request deletion. Haomity may suspend or delete accounts for serious or repeated violations.

Data is then deleted or restricted in accordance with the Privacy Policy and statutory retention duties.

15. Changes to these terms

Haomity may change these terms due to legal changes, new functions, security requirements or further development. Users will be informed of material changes in good time.

16. Final provisions

German law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer usually resides.

If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
